Melody Peterson is a Mary Kay Consultant who wanted to update her social media graphics and establish a consistent brand for her clients and team. We worked together to establish a color palette that worked well with Mary Kay’s established brand, but also gave her her own identity.
Mood Board and Inspiration
Her mood board was bright, fun, and colorful. This allowed her to embrace fun themes in her makeup as well as brighten up a typically muted color palette.

Visual Social Content
The second part of her brand refresh was 28 social media graphics. We did this work around the holidays, so some of these are very clearly themed and others are more generic. Melody’s goal? Diversity and simplification. We wanted things she could send to clients or post on social.

In addition to creating beautiful visuals and scroll-stopping posts, we also laid out some content inspiration for her. Now, this is NOT a content calendar, but it is a list of inspiration. I use these inspiration as prompts when creating a content calendar for a client. From there, we work together to create captions that are stuffed with keywords and power-packed sales strategies.
